Poor Translation, Missing Features, Robotic Voices
The translation from my text document to an audio script was riddled with errors. A lot of the words were complete jumbled. You cannot teach the program how to pronounce words, or add emphasis without upgrading to the $299 a month plan. Those options need to be mandatory at any level. I cancelled after two months and will be creating audio books from scratch in my own voice. Their AI voices were robotic. Obvious AI. That is not the sound I want for my brand.

It's a great system for generating video and audio files that need AI voiceover. I have nearly full control over every aspect of the script and voice. The only issue I have had is that I have to create pause blocks to stretch the time frame out instead of moving a block over in the timeline. It's a small issue, but nothing to stop me from using this.

Beware - You lose all paid for minutes upon cancelling!
The quality of voiceovers is great, however the pricing is steep. I decided to cancel my membership for a few months with the intention of coming back, however upon cancelling I lost all of my accumulated voiceover minutes that I had essentially been paying for for the last year. Most applications allow you to use the remainder of what you paid for until your membership period expires. For this reason I would not recommend Murf to anyone again, nor would I resume a membership myself. While you are informed of this during the cancellation process, this is a bit of a slap in the face to customers who have paid their monthly memberships for some time, but who may choose to cancel based on price or frequency of use. I would have liked to use my remaining minutes, but Murf really gives you no choice.
